PATHE Research Project The PATHE research project, funded by the Scottish Executive, was launched on February 24, 2005. The research by Carol McNaughton explores routes out of homelessness, and examine 'what works' to achieve them, by qualitatively charting the experiences of a group of Simon Community service users over twelve months.  FROM THE REPORT Routes out of homelessness are not prescriptive, but 'what works' appears to be a package of support, over time, that allows individuals to develop their own route out of homelessness depending on their needs and aspirations. This 'package' is encapsulated in the Glasgow Simon community's concept of a 'continuum of care' being provided for service users. |
